Project Brief:
This project is a data center built for the merger of Omantel and Equinix, in the city of Salalah, comprising of a generator building, transformer building and a main building with a total built up area of around 3000 m2. The main building has 4 data halls, 4 electrical rooms, control rooms and battery rooms. GEC was awarded the design and supervision task to deliver this project along with various sub consultants which will provide data storage for many organizations around the world.
